The move back from Miami, FL brought this local celebrity a change to her already patterned lifestyle. Known for her fresh-fashionista style, fun-loving, witty attitude and type-A work ethic, Cheresse Pentella, carried her already created name and brand from her Miami life, back to the Midwest. A graduate of The University of Kansas with majors in communications and journalism, she took to the big lights and sizeable city of Miami where she networked her way into her first P.R. firm as an assistant and in one year went into the publishing industry at MIAMI METRO Magazine (South Florida Magazine). Here, Cheresse advanced as the magazine's Business Development & P.R. Director. After six years of palm trees, high-society hotel, museum and restaurant openings along with celebrity sightings galore, Pentella decided to relocate for a more family friendly lifestyle and in-turn found herself wanting her hometown to be able to feel the vibe of a city she had just left. Hence, spawned CheresseINK. After working four high-spirited and challenging years at "2001 America's Best Builder", Taylor-Morley Homes, as Director of Advertising, Marketing & PR. The publicity guru knew it was time to take the entrepreneur leap and head out on her own. This decision came after a leave of absence from Taylor-Morley for almost six weeks to pursue her own role playing dreams on ABC's the Bachelor 6 which aired September 2004-November 2004. Pentella made it to "THE FINAL FOUR" and became the first bachelorette ever to not go to "THE FANTASY SUITE". The ABC-reality show opened diverse doors and various new found friends who have all watched her life on T.V. The time away allowed her to think clearly enough to think of her own pioneering company; a P.R. firm called CheresseINK, LLC. CheresseINK is a full-fledged branding, strategic marketing, PR and event planning company. Cheresse is also an avid community and charitable supporter, with much of her volunteer time dedicated to several causes such as: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). Cheresse actually created The First Annual "A Very Merry CASA", a toy drive designed to collect presents for those less fortunate children. In addition other charities that Cheresse has been involved with over time have been: Illumination '09 with Siteman Cancer Center, Marygrove, Make-A-Wish, Habitat for Humanity, Sherwood Forest Camp "Blue Jeans Ball", St. John's Mercy "The Big Pink Blast", The Contemporary Art Museum and several others on select levels.
