The move back from Miami, FL has brought this local celebrity a brand new start to her life. Known for her fashionista style, fun-loving, witty attitude and type-A work ethic, Cheresse Pentella, has truly created quite a name for herself back in her home town.
A graduate of Kansas University with majors in communications and journalism, Pentella took to the big lights and bigger city of Miami where she became Business Development Director for MIAMI METRO Magazine. After six years of palm trees, high-society hotel, museum and restaurant openings along with celebrity sightings galore, Pentella moved back to St. Louis to be closer to her family and friends.
She then worked four high-spirited and challenging years at "2001 America's Best Builder", Taylor-Morley Homes, as Director of Advertising, Marketing & PR. This publicity guru knew it was time to take the leap and head out on her own when she felt the need to expand her marketing and PR capabilities into other avenues.
Her decision came after her leave of absence from Taylor-Morley for almost six weeks to pursue her own role playing dreams on ABC's the Bachelor 6 which aired September 2004-November 2004. Although she wasn't chosen for the "final rose", the show did open many doors and many new found friends who have all watched her life on T.V. The time away allowed her to think clearly enough to begin her own firm called CheresseINK, LLC which is a full-fledged branding, strategic marketing, PR and event planning firm.
Cheresse also gives back to the community with much of her volunteer time dedicated to CASA (www.casastlcounty.org) charity: (Court Appointed Special Advocates) that helps abused and neglected children in which she created the annual A Very Merry CASA, which is a toy drive that Pentella designed to collect presents for those less fortunate children.
Cheresse was one of the hosts for Reel Entertainment on Charter TV and then went on to host a new restaurant program called Gateway Restaurant Guide with former St. Louis Pro Blues Player, Tony Twist. You've also seen her as the Live Fashion Expert on NBC's local affiliate, KSDK, Channel 5's "Show Me St. Louis", heard her as the same for KYKY Y-98 or read about her in any print column from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch to Ladue News.
You may have also heard Pentella on several local stations doing interviews or dishing out the VIP "in-style" events about town on : KYKY Y-98, KTRS's 550, or Jamie Allman's 97.1 FM Morning Talk and several other national radio stations as well.
Her capabilities aren't only based in St. Louis as Cheresse has been fortunate enough to attend such celebrity studded events like: The Grammy Awards to Kari Feinstein's Style Lounge at The Sundance Film Festival to DELL's Ultra Hip Lounge in Austin. Lucky for Pentella her connections in Miami are still alive and her cousin (Tricia Costello) with freshwata entertainment/production company in Las Vegas (www.freshwata.com) allows for several of her national connections and partnerships to arise.
