Cheresse

The CEO and President of CheresseINK, Cheresse Pentella, offers 16 years of experience in branding, marketing, public relations, business development, media, and strategic event planning. The boutique P.R. firm focuses on local and national media as well as public relations activation. Cheresse is responsible for the overall management, development, creativity and operations of the firm and makes sure her client’s needs are met and results are proven.

Cheresse began her professional career in Miami, FL at Zynyx Marketing Communications, Inc.  There she was given a chance to assist on her first major event at the launch of Planet Hollywood. Zynyx ran the gamut on clients from Burger King Corporation to The City of Miami Beach. It was a phone call, however, from a V.P. at Miami Metro Magazine (previously South Florida Magazine) that offered her the chance to lead their P.R. & Marketing division. While in Miami, Cheresse was privy to many industry leaders and celebrities as well as her involvement in several launches including but not limited to: Ingrid Casares' Joia Restaurant opening, Ricky Martin's Calsa Salsa event, George Hamilton's restaurant kickoff, MTV's First Real World TV Show Event Celebration & MTV's First Real World & Road Rules Challenge in Key West. These events, as well as others, developed an image for Cheresse with both her name and execution style, to the companies she partnered. Cheresse was responsible for the magazine establishing relationships between 5 major airlines, oversaw their distribution, developed leads, added value for the clients through promotional events and most of all, found out that standard traditions are made to be broken. Cheresse also created the magazine's first ever anniversary party and partnered with Miami's NBC affiliate for their charity, The Women of Tomorrow where she resided on as a committee member.

All of these atributes led Cheresse to a major life and city change when she moved back to St. Louis to establish her own firm after developing relations in the real estate industry as an in-house P.R. and Advertising Director. She oversaw a heavy budget and created a consistent brand image. Cheresse also developed the companies first ever 50th Anniversary video which received many accolades including a video marketing award.

After a few years, Cheresse ended up on ABC's "The Bachelor" (Season 6). This L.A.-Hollywood experience allowed Cheresse many additional opportunities and opened doors into more prominent and national sectors. From here on her life became an exciting trip only heading uphill.

CheresseINK opened the latter part of 2004 upon her return from L.A. In a short period of time, Cheresse hustled and worked herself and the company into as many events or business opportunities that she could from corporate projects included DELL that was in Austin, TX to The Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT where her cousins production company (Freshwata, based in LV) designed Kerri Feinstein's gifting suite. Each event and opportunity took Cheresse to another level which began a steady build to her client roster.

Cheresse enjoys traveling and networking in all areas. She can never attend something and not find a way to see a possible opportunity for either her client or the person she may be speaking with. She enjoys introducing people and has a true nack for introductions and collaborations so that business relationships can turn into sales, growth and friendship.

Cheresse has an intense work ethic and a propensity for attracting new clients and their surrounding fame.

Cheresse is a graduate of The University of Kansas with majors in communications and journalism.
